I recently read about Project 365. One photo every day for one year. What an amazing record of life to have. My first photo is relatively mundane, but it is how I spend a good part of my day.

Day 133
Please excuse the screen in this photo.
Our driveway was recently resurfaced. It looks very pretty, but oh the fumes. I have been nauseous and headachey since it happened. Hopefully the impending rain will wash away the smell?

Day 125
Greyhounds are NOT aquatic animals. They are ground dogs.
Day 119
Cash got to volunteer at a dog festival for a couple of hours and in the process met a new friend. His name is Fregory and he looks quite similar to Cash. They are even about the same age, and according to his foster mom, have similar obnoxious spirited behavior.
In case you cannot discern which is my monster, he is the chap with the manly pink harness. It's his favorite color.
Day 115
My birthday is the day before my anniversary. This is not a good idea and I strongly encourage others to not repeat my mistake. I have found it is easier to celebrate my birthday a couple days early so that I am not 'under the weather' on my anniversary.
This year one of my friends brought the most disdainful bunny sculpture I have ever seen. I named him Bunny of Judgement.
Note the utter disdain! Feel the judgement!
Unfortunately the camera angle does not highlight his Huge Jaunty pink bow which is no doubt the cause for the extreme disdain.
The lovely Jennifer brought him.
I like her because she makes amazing cupcakes.
Day 114
Somehow the ceramic top to my toilet broke in half and tried to cut my finger off in the process. The hows of the situation are still a bit unclear. As far as I was aware, my hand was nowhere near the toilet lid as it fell but clearly this was not the case. It was al very dramatic. I don't handle blood very well. And there was a lot of it. For about 5 hours. I probably should have gotten stitches but I also don't handle doctors very well.
So here is a picture of it.
It's kind of gross.
I made it small to reduce the gross factor.
Of course the minute it stopped bleeding I went to ride the horse. I have made better decisions in my life...

Day 103
I saw this mail in offer on the side of the Milk Bone box and it made me think of my grandfather. He sent in for every mail in offer and rebate he came across. He often made up names to redeem the same offers. So when I saw this, I knew that if he were around, our dogs would all be sporting Milkbone id tags and it made me smile.
Day 97
There is no way this product will be around very long. It tastes just like Velveeta Shells and Cheese but WAY MORE WORK. You have to make a bechamel sauce with the "seasoning" (otherwise known as flour) packet provided and then mix the cheese sauce with it before adding the noodles. For what it's worth, I would recommend just buying the Velveeta stuff.
Day 96
The one thing I am learning most through this project is how boring consistent my life has become. I haven't posted a photo everyday because my life is pretty much the dog or the horse. We are working on the dog though. He flips out when he is alone. So I haven't been leaving him alone. ugh...
We go to the dog park a lot. It is a way for me to get out of the house without leaving him alone. If this was Europe I could just bring him with me everywhere. One more point to the Europeans.

Day 83
These are rollerblade prints in the sidewalk. They make me smile everytime I walk over them. But in a bittersweet sort of way. When I was about 13 I got my first pair of rollerblades. Black orange and purple, I loved them. The neighborhood kids and I would spend tons of time on them. My favorite rollerblading partner was a rather adventurous/reckless fellow and our favorite place to rollerblade was the very smooth, long straight halls of the nearby college. Many an afternoon was spent gliding through the college as we raced away from the custodians trying to chase us down, probably so they could call our parents. They never caught us. He isn't here anymore. I miss him.
