Greyhounds have become a pretty big part of my life. But the other big part of my world is Cutter the horse. He is chestnut with one blue eye and one brown eye. And he has a crescent shaped white mark on his side. He is basically the best horse ever. Also featured in this diagonal photo is Ninja the kitty. Ninja is basically the best barn cat ever. He is orange and amazing. And naughty. But still quite amazing.
I love shoes and purses. Love them. I recently acquired these lovely shoes that are just waiting for a non-wet spring day to make their debut.
This is Caleb. He is my newest foster. One of the best parts about having pets is dressing them up in embarassing clothes. I won these PJs in an ebay auction to benefit the greyhound group I am working with. When I told Brian that I bought greyhound pajamas he thought I meant pajamas with greyhounds on them. Not pajamas for greyhounds. This caused some laughter. But then I put them on Caleb, and I laughed till I cried. I wanted him to wear them to the pet store tonight, but Brian said it was too humiliating for Caleb.
I didn't take a picture yesterday. This will hopefully not become habit. So I will cheat with a photo I took today about a thing that happened yesterday. My husband and his friend brew beer. At first it tasted home made. But now it is just as good as commercial micro-brews. They are really into it and we even have beer on tap in our basement. This weekend was spent making beer for my lovely friend Caiti's wedding. This is not actually the beer they brewed yesterday. It was brewed a while ago but it is sleeping for a while to finish ageing.
