Day 53

I spent a nice afternoon with this fellow. He is 2 and half which is very close to my favorite kid age of 3. He is an urban baby so this was our playground. 

Day 52

Oh my God, Oh my God you guys!!

I LOVE Legally Blonde. And I love musicals. So when those two things merge, how could it not be amazing?? And it was. Luckily I have 2 friends who share this view. We wore pink because it seemed the appropriate thing to do.

For some reason, Brian wasn't interested in joining us...
 

Day 51

So....after a looooong wedding weekend, Brian and I came home to this in our mailbox. I may have cried a little.

I'm sure it will be a lovely day.
 

Day 50

This seems like an extremely boring photo. But it was super exciting to me because it is the off ramp of our freeway exit. It means I am 7 minutes away from my house. After almost 20 hours in a car in 4 days and an exhausting weekend, this view was a thing of beauty to me.

Day 49

The wedding day finally came. And that's all I have to say about that.

Day 48

Day 2 of our Ohio journey began with a stop at the Great Lakes Brewing Company. It is an amazing old bar with great details in the wood and tin ceiling. And the beer is pretty spectacular too!

Day 47

Day 1 of our 4 day Ohio journey began in Cleveland. We stayed at a Radisson that I reserved through Hotwire.  I have had much success with Hotwire in the past. This time? Well...maybe not so much. The staff was super nice so that's something. But the room had some issues. And the bed was a Sleep Number bed. Not at all comfortable! I tried lots of numbers.

We did have a lovely evening with friends and went to a hibachi restaurant. Much fun was had.

Day 45

Two days before leaving for an out of town wedding, I finally bought the shoes. Here they are with my bridesmaid dress. Someday I will maybe not procrastinate so much. But probably not.

Explanations

I have days of photos to upload but I am currently too exhausted to do so. I was at an out of town wedding for several days and need some recovery time. Tomorrow will be blog day. Here is a sneak peek:

This is the mother and father of the bride dancing to their wedding song, Whiter Shade of Pale.  It was definitely the hip-er of the parent dances. AND?!??! Mother of the bride is wearing the shoes from her wedding. So cool.
 

Day 44

Today I walked a cat. On a leash. Like a dog. When I try to put a harness on my cats, they immediately flop over on their sides and lie helplessly. If they dare move at all, it is in army crawl style. From what I have heard from other cat owners, this is pretty typical behavior. But this cat is special. His name is Simon and I am feeding him for a couple of days while his owner is gone.
